Why did you want to be part of FringeNYC?
A: NY, NY -- it's a heckuva town! I performed the show in LA, but to give it a shot in the city that never sleeps -- c'mon, how many lyrics do I have to rip off here?

Are there any cautions or warnings you’d like to make about the show (e.g., not appropriate for little kids)?
A: When we're talking about pornography, let's see, who's not my target demographic? I'd say anybody who hates, or isn't old enough to understand, the concept of looking at sex. Not that I'll be showing any explicit images during the show (so I guess those folks who might expect that will be disappointed, so maybe they should stay home, too -- and watch their porn, especially the porn with me in it), but the discussion may get a bit too touchy where some folks would rather not be touched.

A: Sexy? -- it's just too obvious; Superb -- is a nice word, but it's not offered; Succulent -- even better than 'superb', but Suffers the Same non-offered Status; Surprising? YeS, let'S go with SURPRISING! -- I'm happy when folkS come away with the unexpected

Theatre is a necessary ingredient in democratic societies. Do you agree or disagree, and why?
A: I particularly enjoy the notion that we can get up on stage and have our say. If it comes out well and the folks support it, then it has its own organic life -- its own freedom to exist and thrive -- which sounds to me like what people look to when they find their societies aren't secure or open enough to hear what its members have to say. What is there to be afraid of? Bad words? Like I say in the show, "What kind of babies do they take us for?" I rest my case.
